The pad features the TwinLock valve system with two one-way valves—one dedicated to inflation and the other to deflation—making setup and pack-down fast and easy. Its StrataCore construction combines a continuous layer of thermal foam with alternating ridges of air and foam, creating an efficient design that maximizes warmth while keeping the pad compressible for transport.

With an R-value of 7.0, the MondoKing 3D offers excellent insulation suitable for very cold conditions. The 3D construction includes vertical sidewalls that increase the usable sleeping surface and provide a more mattress-like sleeping area.

For best performance, the self-inflating pad should be topped off with air by breath or the included pump sack and left fully inflated for 2–4 hours before first use. The pad compresses down to a compact 26 × 10.3 inches and packs into the included PFAS-free storage sack for easy transport.

The large size measures 77 × 25 × 4.25 inches, rolls to 26 × 10.3 inches for packing, and weighs 4.38 pounds. The sleeping pad includes a stuff sack that also functions as a pump sack and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. It is made in the USA.
